reflections on training
havent ran in the forest for a long time. brought back memories (: it was the exact same route we ran the day mel joined us for the very first time. back then there were various voices calling out words of encouragement, "keep going! all the way! jiayou! just a little bit more!" there was the little difficulty of keeping to one side of the path, in a single file. today. i could see mel in front of me, feel soph's presence beside me, hear lihui and haoxia's footsteps behind me. nevertheless, running is always good. purged toxins, take one's mind off things. need to work on erratic heartrate, need to be more consistent.get well soon yt, we miss our captain counting together with us during warmup. come back soon yihang. got loads to share. mmmm absences will really be felt with greater impact from now. but a team is still a team. everybody build up immunity system and stay healthy pls :D
lunched at j8 and somehow got into girly mood, we were all attracted to colourful lollipops and funky accessories. btw mel, thanks for the "yanhan, twelve o' clock" today. -gleeful grin-
tutorials, lectures, national day musical. need to be more productive, need to be more disciplined, need to be more motivated, need to be less dependent on caffeine, need to get promoted.
xin, ling, mel, lin na and cyn! you light up my life! hahhaha literally. i cannot help skipping and bouncing with delight the minute i saw you all. you know, thinking about "this is home, truly", reminded me of another of 4P's signature line: i got a cut on my finger can you help me? okay actually that was 3P lahh. ohhh the good old plaster days. :D
my banged up knee ruined my weekend swimming plans. (my mum frowned or rather scowled at the regularly-wounded spot and went, "you fell again?" why does she make it sound as if i desired to inflict pain on myself.) darn it.
